Bellamack HomeFirst. More affordable house & land packages coming soon

The first 12 of the allocated Bellamack HomeFirst house and land packages were sold via a public ballot in early December 2009. A total of 67 Bellamack HomeFirst lots will be available for sale in Darwin's newest residential community, Bellamack, as part of the Northern Territory Government's initiative to help more Territorians buy their own home.

A further 25 Bellamack HomeFirst lots will be available for sale in 2010 to eligible purchasers. They will be most suitable for the construction of two to three bedroom homes. The lots will be sold via ballot again to ensure a fair selection process. Ballot eligibility, application forms, and house and land package prices will be available soon.

Are you eligible?

• be a natural person (not a trust or company), aged 18 years or over
• be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• not currently own a property or share in a property in Australia (this also includes spouse/defacto partners)
• have pre-approved finance
• meet income limits as per HOMESTART NT (asset limits do not apply)
• agree to live in the property for a minimum of 2 years, from the date of legal occupancy of the dwelling
