Construction Progress

We’re pleased to report that a major milestone has been reached with the first house slabs being poured on a number of Stage 1 Title Release blocks. Expect to see development progress quickly as Bellamack homes start to appear across the first 89 titled blocks.

Meanwhile, we hope to soon be announcing the issuing of titles for Stage 2 Title Release for a further 27 lots. The physical construction of these lots is complete and we are presently working with Government to obtain the paperwork so that titles can be issued and settlements can begin.

Our focus is now on the construction phase for sales release 5 through to 8.

This is progressing very well with our rain-free, albeit slightly too sticky, dry season giving us good weather conditions for lot construction.

If everything goes to plan we expect to have Stage 2A titles (sales release 5 to 7) by November or December this year and sales release 8 in early 2011.

As revealed in our last Bellamack Bulletin we will be releasing Bellamack Country Living lots to the market this year.

We expect the 4000m² + rural residential lots to be very popular when they go on sale in November and we are encouraging anyone who might be keen to register their interest early on the Bellamack website www.bellamackNT.com.au.

Bellamack HomeFirst

To round out a busy year, our commitment to providing affordable housing lots will continue with another 25 Bellamack HomeFirst lots going to market before Christmas.

A co-ordinated effort with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Regional Services, the Bellamack HomeFirst lots will be available to eligible purchasers and sold by public ballot by the NT Government. Successful purchasers will then be able to select from specially designed homes for their lot, designed by some of the Territory’s best builders.

Aside from the big Country Living lots we also have a range of our standard Bellamack lots which will be released in 2010. We are busy planning a release for October which will coincide with the opening of the new Bellamack on-site sales office.

The Sales Office is currently under construction and we look forward to its unveiling in a couple of months.

Display Village

Last but not least it's great to see that the first homes in the Bellamack Display Village are underway. Killarney Homes have kicked off proceedings with the pouring of their display home slab and others are expected to follow suit shortly.

The Bellamack Display Village is going to be the biggest display village in Darwin when it is complete and will provide an excellent opportunity for new Bellamack land owners to browse the finished product homes from some of the NT’s finest builders.

The opening of the village early next year promises to be a great event and we hope to see you there.
